Coffee - Ethiopia Hafursa
Tastes like: Nectarine / Pluot / Rosehip
Earlier this year Woodcat owners Saadat & Janine had the extraordinary honor of visiting Ethiopia, and seeing firsthand the hard work, care, and dedication going into producing coffee in the country. While they were there they visited the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union. Inspired by our partnership with Catracha in Honduras, Saadat & Janine decided they want to give back and support the YCFCU’s community school by donating an additional $3 from the sale of every bag of this coffee directly to the school!
In addition to supporting a great cause, this coffee tastes phenomenal. You can really grasp the care that goes into this coffee from seed to cup. Up front you are greeted with a bright, ripe nectarine sweetness that deepens to notes of pluot. Elevating the whole cup are the floral notes of rosehip. This flavor profile is what Yirgacheffe is famous for and we are beyond delighted to offer you this coffee grown with love and care by the family-owned farms of the YCFCU.
